It's time to design your new garden

There are so many plants to choose from, planning a garden can be overwhelming. We’re here to listen to your ideas and help transform your outdoor space.

Consultation

We will meet with you onsite and discuss your preferred choice of planting and colour combinations and styles of garden that inspire you. Design styles that you may consider include wildlife gardens, cottage gardens, Japanese gardens, small spaces, contemporary gardens and naturalistic gardens. We encourage you to source images of appealing plants and gardens that capture your imagination, we’ll work with you to turn your vision into reality.
If you choose to go ahead with a design, we will measure, evaluate and photograph the site.

Design Plan

After we meet to discuss your ideal garden and agree upon a layout that suits your needs, Monarch Garden Design will create a planting plan. At this point we can take a virtual tour through your new garden and note any changes required. Once you're completely happy with the design, we will supply the plan, complete with plant labels, detailed plant list and guide.

Installation

When you're ready to go ahead with your garden transformation, we will gladly manage the entire project with our preferred landscaping partner. Our installation includes plants supplied by local, quality growers.

You also have the option of directing the project yourself, using the plan provided.

We provide A plant guide!

If you're an avid gardener and know all about the plants in the design, that's great! However, many of us may need a little extra information on how to care for our investment. Monarch Garden Design offers a complete guide to the plants in your new garden, with identification photos and care instructions. We take care to ensure that all plants in the design are supremely adapted to your planting zone, light and soil conditions.

Imagine taking a walk through your new garden before approving the design. Using Realtime Landscape Architect software, we can virtually recreate your outdoor space, enabling you to take a stroll around your new garden installation at any time of day…or night ( you can even see how the garden lighting will look!).

Every garden scheme should have a backbone, a central idea beautifully phrased. Every wall, path, stone and flower should have its relationship to the central idea.
